Where to Start

New to Gay Hive? We recommend diving into past issues and exploring our insightful interviews or Gay Interior Design articles. These sections offer a great introduction to the unique and diverse content that defines our magazine.

Content We Accept:

  • Advice columns
  • Short stories (including erotica)
  • Poetry

Each issue of Gay Hive is assigned a theme. If you have something to submit that doesn't match the theme for that month, don't worry! We publish extra content on our blog.

Our theme for June 2026 is QUEERLY BELOVED (LOVE & COMMUNITY): Celebrating diverse forms of love—romantic, platonic, and chosen family beyond heteronormative standards.

Our Audience

Gay Hive is a judgement-free zone. We pride ourselves on offering content that other magazines shy away from and embracing the buzz of unfiltered expression.

Our writers cover a diverse range of topics: from interior design, gay parenting, witchcraft, travel, xxx photography, and more!

We are always open to new, unique ideas and encourage submissions free of censorship.  Express yourself!

How to Submit

Submission Guidelines

Please include the following information in your email:

  • Your name
  • A brief bio (50–100 words)
  • The title of your submission
  • Your submission as an attachment (Word document, PDF, etc.) or directly in the email body

All submissions should be one to two weeks before the end of the month. We look forward to your creative contributions!
